Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is born in Romania and is a Romanian TV presenter and actress. She is best known for her role as the protagonist of Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. at the age of sixteen, she had landed several television roles, such as the lead role in the movie Downfall Youth With No Youth Control. After the critically-acclaimed performance in the television film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went into other notable parts, including Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudljunge as well as the secretary of Adolf Hitler in Downfall. It was nominated for an Oscar and won critical acclaim. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex as well as The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films starring this stunning actress. Alexandra is involved in numerous notable projects in both the US and abroad.
